Black Barn Sofas has a long history of working with interior designers, architects, and property developers. We understand the demands of trade projects — tight specifications, specific fabric requirements, and reliable lead times — and we are set up to meet them.
Why Designers Choose Us
- Bespoke to the brief. Every piece is handmade to your exact requirements — dimensions, fabric, arm height, cushion fill and finish are all configurable.
- COM welcome. We work regularly with client's own material from all major fabric houses, including Colefax & Fowler, Robert Kime, Romo, Zoffany, Fermoie, Soane, and many others.
- Spec sheets available. Detailed specification sheets for each model are available on request, including dimensions, seat heights, arm heights, and fabric allowances.
- Nearly 40 years of craft. Roy Coles has been building traditionally upholstered furniture in Wiltshire since 1988. His work features in some of the finest houses in the country.
- Trade pricing. We offer trade pricing to qualifying interior designers and design practices. Please enquire for details.
Lead Times
- Sofas and armchairs: approximately 12–16 weeks
- Footstools: approximately 6–10 weeks
- Rush lead times may be available — please ask
Our Range
We offer six sofa models, armchairs, and a range of footstools — all available in bespoke dimensions. We also undertake fully bespoke commissions to your own design, and offer a restoration and re-upholstery service for antique pieces.
