Avon Sofa

The Avon is a classic, generously proportioned sofa drawing on the great English upholstery tradition. Built on a solid beech frame with mortise and tenon joints, sprung with traditional double-cone coil springs and filled with curled hair and cotton felt, the Avon is designed for daily use over decades. Seat cushions are filled with feather and down and covered in a tightly woven cambric to maintain their shape and loft over time.

The Avon is available as a two-seat or three-seat, and can be made as a tight-back or with back cushions. Arms are square, with a slight outward taper. Legs are turned hardwood, available in natural wax, painted, or ebonised finish.
