Cole Armchair

The Cole Armchair is based on a Howard & Sons armchair we restored many years ago — a design so rare we have only ever seen two examples, and have made it our own ever since. A wide, generous seat with a low, swept back and distinctive outward-rolling arms. Built on a solid beech frame with traditional coil springs and curled hair filling.

• Solid beech frame, mortise and tenon jointed
• Traditional double-cone coil springs, hand-lashed
• Curled hair and cotton felt filling — no foam
• Feather and down seat cushion — 50/50 feather and down; 70% down back cushion
• Wide seat, low swept back, outward-rolling arms
• Turned hardwood legs — wax, paint, or ebonised
• COM accepted — lead time approximately 8–12 weeks

Dimensions

Fabric quantity is based on plain cloth — please allow extra for patterned or napped fabrics. As a bespoke maker we can adjust any dimension to suit your room.
