Ebble Armchair

The Ebble is loosely based on the Howard & Sons Ingleby and Clayton designs — two of the most refined armchair forms that celebrated Victorian maker ever produced. A compact, upright chair with a high back, tight upholstery, and a quiet formality that suits a study, a bedroom, or a drawing room corner. Built on a solid beech frame with traditional coil springs and curled hair filling.

• Traditional double-cone coil springs, hand-lashed
• Curled hair and cotton felt filling — no foam
• Feather and down seat cushion
• High back, tight upholstery — compact proportions
• Turned hardwood legs — wax, paint, or ebonised
